Guided meditation for transforming emotions

Tackling everyday stress

That heavy feeling, that weights every time you breathe in and doesn’t let you enjoy life to its fullest: anxiety. You can change your relationship with those challenging emotions, and I can show you how to do that through Yoga. In this workshop, you will learn to use some tools of hatha yoga, meditation, and deep relaxation to transform and handle your anxiety.

Hatha Yoga in its unique combination of breathwork, physical exercises with deep alignment, relaxation and meditation has proven to provide numerous and very powerful tools to support mental health1 and well-being1. The scientific research as well as the personal experience of the students I had over the past decade show how effective and deeply transformative a regular and well-guided yoga practice can be.

What to expect

Yoga for Anxiety is a workshop aimed to help you with managing anxiety and stress by introducing traditional yet currently validated practices of Yoga. The completion of the course varies, with a minimum time of 2,5 hours for those who are just looking to get a taste to 10 hours for those who want to dedicate more time to perfect their practice and enjoy more benefits. At the end of the workshop, you will be able to implement this as a weekly practice, assisted by the videos, or on your own with the printouts for independent practice. I taught this workshop and online several times, with great results that you can check here.

Who is the course for?

This workshop is for you if you are feeling anxiety and want to tackle those emotions by learning to deal with them. If you are ready to transform your anxiety through hatha yoga and meditation practice. It does not require previous experience in yoga.

This course does not replace psychotherapeutic treatment but might complement it. For more severe mental challenges please seek out support. If needed, I am happy to guide you further.

To get started you will need a mat, a blanket and two yoga blocks (or something similar) Those can be replaced with other items you have at home. Find out how to use what you have as yoga props here.
